Polymyositis anyone? - polymyositis treatment more condition_symptoms

Does anyone have any ideas for natural or treatment of polymyositis? My wife has been diagnosed, but the side effects of treatment are almost as bad as the bad. Prednizone currently underway and some chemotherapy drugs and their side effects are so depressed that cries every day. Thank you for your time.
