These numbers are not in your body, in your mind. They're just a person but the person creating multiple personalities to separate from reality. You are one of them just different facets of one of them, and often other people do not know each other, but in essence they are doing. It is this awareness of other beings is blocked for some time until they can receive treatment.
I have no sources at hand, but I have numerous articles about the famous "Sybil", which means that it was an act because of the publicity, it might take a look at that.
On a side note, I saw a documentary of this disorder and for me the behavior of these people is completely satisfatory to convince myself that everything is real. This is just my opinion.
